Easton in Gordano Parish Church dedicated to
~ St George ~



Easton in Gordano Church

The Church consists of the 15th century tower with pinnacles and parapet, nave and aisles. The arch inside the tower is made up of four depths of moulding. The Norman font is the oldest of the Church possessions all else is of the 19th century. In the Churchyard are numerous trees yew, pine, cedar and fir amongst them. 


Easton-in-Gordano - from the Old English eas, tun, gara, denu 'water enclosure in wedge shaped vale'.
Easton in the Domesday Book (1086).
